I understand the desire to do everything in Emacs, but you know.I’m just not sure that’s worth it. I don’t blame folks for sticking with it, but I just can’t anymore. Calendar invites were always something of pain, I’d occasionally cause confusion in long email threads where I essentially broke the html somewhere since I’d send a plain text response (never could fix this completely), and god forbid mbsync decided to give me a hard time one day. I understand why people have an issue with it, but that fight was lost long ago. I loved the typing experience (obviously) and damn could I clear my inbox quickly.īut in the end.there’s just too much html out there. It helped me focus a bit more on my emails - I read them more carefully, since plain text tends to do that for me. It rocked when it came to searching through my emails, creating TODO items in org, and simplifying my life a bit.

My job is full of nerds and pretty flexible, so aside from a few jokes nobody really cared about my using it. It have demands tons of tweaks at start, for few months, and even now it sometimes demand action and that's definitively not good.

The last point is "ongoing" for me, in the sense that's not a nightmare but it's really long. HTML emails for me are bad so I do not care, if I can read that's enough, if I can't I reply saying that I can't read the message (and being an admin it's hard to tell me that's my fault). near Highway 330 and Forest Road 1N09, about nine miles from Running Springs, forest officials said. I circumvent it maintaining a personal "central" server that sync my mails and I muchsync against it, but it's not a real solution and that's not good.ĬardDAV/CalDAV integration is not much an issue for me, org-contacts are enough to get mail addresses completion in Emacs and I add events to my agenda fairly easy by hand (with org-roam in same case, with org-capture in some others, depending of the kind of event I like to schedule only or to schedule and log, adding data/files/mails etc) but yes, having a better support for both, while hard, will be a good thing to have

But the fact that a proper notmuch sync between different machines is problematic it's an issue.

How to achieve this with onclick() of HTML span tag.īelow I have given the code snippet which I am using for finding and highlighting the phone number.I agree about few things, the fact that doesn't work on Windows is a non issue for me, I can't work on Windows anyway so. I want to invoke the same instance of an already running application, when click on the phone number on web page. I am using IHtmlTxtRange::findtext for finding the phone numbers and for highlighting the phone numbers I am injecting HTML's span tag to the web page using IHtmlTxtRange::pastetext(). I am developing a BHO with c++ for identifying the phone numbers on any webpage, highlighting the phone numbers and invoking an utility when click on the phone number.
